In the aftermath of the Trojan War, Menelaus and Agamemnon name Odysseus the greatest warrior, awarding him the armor of the fallen hero Achilles. Furious at being passed over for this honor, Ajax vows murderous revenge in this timeless tragedy of madness and violence. This production takes on a dystopian punk rock aesthetic reflected in the design and music. Written by Sophocles. Translated by John Tipton.
